QUESTION - I am having a bit of trouble understanding a dream and the colour grey. I dreamed of several different situations with people - my current lover, my former associate , my own younger self and my deceased fiancé who died five years ago all featuring the colour grey.
My life has been a hell hole of loss and ruin since 2010 I have been homeless now for two years. Is the colour grey I have been seeing due to harm caused to me by people, an indication that my soul has reached its 50th shade of Grey or that I should practice Grey Magic.? Hell of a question need a clear answer. Thanks in advance
Answer – The colour grey is often associated with the concept of uncertainty though interestingly enough is often used in magic as a colour to bring clarity out of uncertainty. Grey can symbolise mists clouding the vision (either physically or spiritually) and has strong connotations with the idea of balance and neutrality.
If you are finding you are dreaming about grey as the result of events which have had serious impacts on your life then my interpretation would be that you are trying to find ways to balance these events and restore equilibrium in your life. I think grey represents both the unhappiness you have experienced and also your own uncertainty about what life changes to make to turn things around again. I’d also suggest that where you are dreaming about grey in relation to other people it suggests your thinking is a little confused about how you relate to those people and how they fit into your life.
I doubt the colour grey has anything to do with harm people have/haven’t caused you. It may relate to your uncertainty about other people’s intentions toward you but doesn’t in itself suggest anybody bears you any ill will.
I can’t see any reason to suggest that recurrent dreams featuring the colour grey would be an indication that
you should be practising grey magic. Look out for signposts in your life by all means but don’t read too much into things for the sake of it.
Rather hoping your reference to your soul reaching its 50th shade of grey was a joke. If not then I’d point out that this is a reference to a popular fiction book and has no bearing on any accepted theory of soul progression.
