I placed them in my house because they are supposed to clean it from bad energy. They wake me up at night and I hear them. Also I placed sage on them and put a red candle because my instinct felt right. But is it right to do that? What is going on? Why did they sound like someone was moving them?
ANSWER – Instinct is often a great source of guidance when working with anything outside the world of the mundane but I think it is also important to understand if you do something precisely why you are doing it. If in your own mind there is a clear significance in the use of the sage and the red candle then yes this does make sense and was probably a positive thing to do. However if you did it because you read in a book somewhere that red candles combat unusual nocturnal activity then I think you’d do better to work back through the thought process and try a solution that you can explain to yourself why it is your chosen action.
The movement of the black rocks is quite interesting. It could of course have a very simple explanation such as you are mistaken or confusing the noise with a different source. Have you actually seen the rocks moving or only heard them moving? I always caution that it is important to look at all explanations as usually the most simple one is the most likely one. Witches who make the mistake of always looking for the supernatural explanation first would probably benefit from first applying a liberal dose of common sense to the given matter at hand.
That said I see no reason at all why your stones cannot genuinely be moving. I can suggest a couple of explanations for this. The first is that if you are using the stones for the purpose of absorbing negative energies you are effectively charging those stones and this transference of energy could be manifesting itself if in physical movement (have a Google of kinetic energy, similar principle). This might be a likely explanation if you are going through a particularly difficult time emotionally and projecting a lot of powerful and/or angry energy around the room.
It’s equally possible that somebody else is moving the stones. I’d be at a loss as to know why a passing spirit would wish to do this but then again I also couldn’t explain why one insisted on chucking a candle across a locked room at me when I was sleeping once. Low level spirits do delight in causing mischief and mayhem and if they are provoking a reaction in you it could well be a source of entertainment for them. (I wouldn’t be too worried about this explanation btw, spirits are similar to humans in the fact that anyone silly enough to find this a highly amusing source of fun probably isn’t bright enough to be any threat to you. Mildly irritating at best!)
If worried bury the stones in the earth outside and give the room a good physical clean. Make up a salt spray solution and cleanse the entrances to your doors and windows and you probably won’t have any more problems. If you keep a Ouija board in the room might also be an idea to relocate elsewhere in the house.
If not worried try a bit of an experiment. Arrange the stones in a very precise manner balanced carefully on top of one another and take a picture so you know exactly how they look when you go to bed. Compare the stones in the morning to see if they actually are being moved. If they are and you’d like to try further communication try leaving a tray of very fine sand next to the stones and see if any symbols or words are drawn for you.
