Before I stopped getting out I did buy a Goblet and a Wooden Wand, but haven't been able to buy anything else.
Will it be ok to buy on-line? as I have read that you are supposed to buy the items yourself holding them yourself you can get a comfortable feeling for the items.
I would like some advice if it is possible.
ANSWER - Oh yes. More than yes! Anything you use in working magic is merely a tool. Sometimes there is confusion as to who is doing the magic – the witch or the item and I know a lot of witches get quite bowed down with the whole getting the right tool and treating it right kind of thing. It’s a bit dangerous if you ask me, it leads to the tools having far more perceived power than they should. The tools have no inherent power in themselves, it is how they are used and who is using them that gives them the power. A wand in the hands of the magically non inclined is a stick. Doesn’t matter how fancy or elaborate it is, it’s a stick.
I don’t think it matters if you buy your things in a witch shop, order online or pull out of your neighbour’s skip. Providing you properly cleanse the items (and I don’t just mean wave a bit of sage around, give them a good wash too) and you understand in your own mind the purpose that they will be used for, it makes no difference where they came from.
I wouldn’t worry at all, buy whatever you need from the comfort of your own armchair in the confidence that a tool is merely the slave to its master and with time and patience you will learn how to utilise them in the art of witchcraft.
