
Take the time to step outside your life on a daily basis. (Yes, you do have time, you will make time) Ask yourself – will this matter in three weeks time? Three months? Take the time to ask questions that lie beyond the confines of your own life and experience. As you start to understand that your worries have little impact either on the wider world or for your future self, you will start to feel the pressure of all that negativity start to relax. And it’s a virtuous circle, the more you relax, the easier you will find it to be objective about your problems, the less you will worry, the more positive you will feel, you will feel more inclined to meditate and explore your own spirituality. You will have spiralled out of the negativity trap. That first step is all about changing the way you think, getting some perspective. Once you have done that, the negativity will start to fade and a new, happier you will have the confidence to take control of your life.
